WFLA · Class of 2027
Taorui (Louis) Jia
A systems-minded builder and a competitive junior golfer. I turn messy problems into tools that work under real constraints, and I ship them. Next: electrical and computer engineering, especially the systems side of AI.

PinTrace
The scoring apps I used reduced a round to statistics and said little about the decisions behind it. So I built my own, tested it through my own tournament rounds, and changed course when it showed me I had built too much of the wrong thing.

The scorecard
More detailA low-friction scorecard and reflection tool for competitive golfers, live on the App Store.
A native macOS AI companion that grew into an agent system: streaming answers, persistent memory, tool permissions and multi-agent workflows.
Code goes public when it is ready.
A bilingual IB Economics study platform with 227 topics and spaced review.
A touchscreen desk companion: air quality, presence sensing and Mac controls.
The tools I use to direct coding agents: a quota-aware dispatcher and a long-task loop.
Note search and cited answers inside Obsidian, running on a local model.
How I work
I write the requirements and design the system, use AI coding agents to accelerate the build, and review, test and debug every stage myself. One agent builds, another checks, and nothing ships until the tests and my own real-world testing pass: PinTrace goes onto a golf course before every release. I built and open-sourced the tools for that workflow.
